My Adolphus Neiman Marcus Childrens Christmas Parade Album - 12-02-2006, 11:23 PM

Dallas' celebrated its annual Childrens Christmas Parade today and I have put an album up on my Pbase page at http://www.pbase.com/demdeepellummus...christmas_2006
The parade was filmed on High Def television also so you may see it on your High Def Providers schedule or you may have seen it live this morning.

I still have a few more pics to put up tommorrow but there are plenty up already to enjoy.

Always welcome comments
(I will be adding captions after I get most of the pics loaded in tommorow).

Cool pictures- looks like a fun time was to be had by all. Unfortunately, I had three different things I was supposed to be doing at the same time this morning.

I especially like the blue men and the people in the green packages.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.

Those are nice Paul. I thought you might be down there shooting it.

I especially like the shot on the 2nd page with Reunion Tower in the background. Also on the same page, that one guy looks like Mr. Peppermint's long, lost son.

Damn Rick, I was expecting to see Gibby Haynes and his band there.

John, I had completely forgotten about The Surfers.

There were 2 guys in the Mr Peppermint Coats but no Jerry or his son around, wonder what people from elsewhere in the world will think about a guy in a red and white jacket?
I'm still adding a few more pics today as time allows.

This was my first time to this parade but it won't be my last, it was fun though a bit cold and a lot of pretty girls!

Ilearned a bit from this one so know more for the next, may just be worth paying for a bleacher seat for a second photographer to work from.

Did anybody watch the parade on TV?

Great to see the images of the Hardin-Simmons band from Abilene. It has been many years since I have been able to see or hear them in a parade. Fond memories.
