you will be VERY pleased with the lighting in the curtain club! I shot a band there a few weeks ago. Just remember to barely underexpose the photo by 1 - 2 stops. The colors come out MUCH richer if you do!

Curtain Club has one of the best stages sound wise and lighting wise (if the band has a light guy who knows what he/she is doing or they pay the house light guy a few extra $$'s).

Have not been back in there in a while, I like Honchie if they have not changed their style any, have not heard the other bands before.

Just looked at Curtains website and Honchie is not on this bill

OK I have an idea for a multiple stop photo late day on into the night Saturday.

People start off at the Sons of Herman Hall for the Randy Brodnax Art Show *I have a link up- it is open till 6 on Sat, then go about the 1/2 mile to Fair Park to see the lighted area *we can car pool and park on the street and then walk a block or so. Then go from there back to the Sons of Herman Hall to get the other cars and then go down to Neimans to shoot the Windows (I will have an album up tommorrow- parking around that area is free) then go to the Curtain Club at 9 pm to Shoot the Rock Show! There is a city lot that is reasonable to pay to park and it has a free shuttle that runs past the club. We could eat before or after the Neimans shoot if people would be hungry or like I mentioned about the art show there is some great food there that is very reasonable.
