then my issue will be figuring out where to come up with the money to get into the conference.

Edit: Fran, how much do these help? We have gone to a few about weddings, and found a bit let down. I love photographing children, but would have the same reservation...

Holly, to be honest I've never been to this conference, but I've heard great things about it, and as one of their speakers I feel quite honored to be amongst the rest of this line-up. If you're wanting to learn more about children and family photography I don't think you could go wrong. These conventions are great because you have plenty of learning opportunity in the programs... business, shooting, workflow stuff, but you also have the opportunity to meet a lot of folks you'll click with. I learn as much from talking shop over a few drinks at the end of the day as I do in the programs. And it's Austin... what can I say... fun to be had regardless!

On the other hand, you could come to my workshop and get it all embedded in your brain with a serious dose of "stimulation overload".

actually it's looking like i'm not going to be able to make this one. One thing about being a stay at home mom too is needing someone to keep the kiddos and no one is going to be able to do that. maybe next time.

the problem still is who watches the kids. if I'm keeping up with them if they're models then I can't be conventioning. LOL

dont I know it. today was a rough morning dropping the boy off at school. he started crying and begging for me to bring him home with me...he does know how to push my buttons. But I did leave him there.

it's funny to say I have "5" kids and watch peoples faces do this cause I really only had 2, but I love my niece, nephew and step-son all like they're my own that sometimes it's just easier to say I have 5 when I spend everyday with them....the summer when there is no school makes me
