I was wonder what everyones viewpoint is on this subject. If I saw a photo that someone took that I really liked and I wanted to basicaly capture the same type of photo of a client, would that be bad to copy the pose and idea? I try to come up with my own ideas but sometimes I see some really nice shot and think, that would be nice for my client.

Just wondering if I should shoot for 100% my ideas or if it is ok and accepted to use others ideas one in awhile.

If it were possible to copyright poses and lighting setups, 99% of portrait photographers would have to shut down.
