sheez you should have been at my house this morning when the catahoula snagged a bunny. worst thing i have even seen and i seen combat. any way I was shaving and saw the catahoula flipping around this dirty limp bunny. I went out and wrangled that catahoula just like steve wrangled a gator on the discovery channel.

I took one good look at the bunny and said holy left nuts batman that is the bunny from next door... I gave that bunny a wash and blow dry and throw him back in the hutch next door.... well not but three vodka tonics later did i hear a scream from the back yard.. I ran to the door with a clang and clatter and what did i see but an old lady screaming i just buried that bunny last night...

i snuck back to the house and gave the dog and pat and said to all a good night....

Aren't bunnies just too cute! I actually had the brilliant idea that a bunny would be great to have around for kid shots - so I convinced HotHolly to let me buy one. My daughter named her Kissie... which just begged for another bunny, so now we have Huggs and Kissie. Of course you gotta have some place to keep bunnies. So, we've now got a huge hutch out back that looks like I built it with a driftwood and scotch tape.

But, my bunnies are pretty darn cute. Of course, it turns out that they don't like me as much as I like them - so they've never actually made it into a photo. Instead they cower and hide while waiting for food and then taunt me with their cute little looks once I walk away...

Suffice to say, I'm no longer allowed to pick out props.

the bunnies were product of our last drive to NY. i think mike saw one on the hwy and got bunnies on the brain. i heard about bunnies for 3 days straight! i wonder what we'll end up with after this trip? my guess is a deer, skunk, or some other poor animal that mike finds.
