Argh!!

This is a discussion on Argh!! within the Open Talk forums, part of the General Information category; Man, my monitors suck. They do not display colors the same, so I dont know which one is right.. Sucks ...

Man, my monitors suck. They do not display colors the same, so I dont know which one is right.. Sucks so bad.. Maybe I need to get 2 new monitors.. Or at least one new one for my main.

Don't have any calibration hardware.. I think my main monitors color is correct, the other is a Dell I got of craigslist for $20. I might splurge for a decent LCD since my next paycheck has almost 18 hours o/t..

Without hardware calibration, you have no way of know if the colors are correct. That's unfortunately the way it is.

Well, i'm just saying i think the colors on my main are correct (better then my 2nd monitor). 2nd monitor colors looke 3-4 shades darker. I can change the color temp, but that doesn't help at all. I saw frys had the hardware to calibrate, but I dont have the money for the Pro version right now.

Spend the hunnerd bucks and get a calibration unit. Will make a big difference.
