A friend of mine needs help figuring out what these things are. Do any of you know?

So far the guesses (from various people) are 1: violin bow 4. tungsten light filament 6. inside of a handheld pencil sharpener.

I think the guesses are correct, if that helps.

2 looks like a rope of some sort should go through the grove - a fishing weight maybe ?

3 has a quick release attachment (the top bit) and fits over two ropes/tubes/ pipes
5 looks like some sort of crimping tool. Quite a bit of force and some sort of oldish industrial application.

I believe # 5 is a canvas stretcher used to pull artist canvas tight when mounting it on a stretcher frame. # 3 appears to be a cord organizer for clipping extra cords out of the way.

Number 3 is an Octo holder for Scuba Diving....

I knew being a Scuba Instructor would come in handy one day!

I would agree with 1, 4, 6. 5 looks to me like a garlic press.

Has someone already guessed number 6? Reminds me of a pencil sharpener.

Doh! Obviously I cannot read well. LOL. Ignore this post. Move along...
