And just in time for the holiday cooking!

My son and wife got tired of cold showers yesterday morning and complained after dinner(?). So, I called Center Point late last night after trying to light the pilots and finding no gas pressure. A nice guy came out and put in a new meter around midnight. Thanks, there really is a Santa.

I wish I had gas (no wise cracks, please :-). Is this a new home?

My house is about twenty years old. When it was built the gas meter looked used (rebuilt?). The Center Point guy said the expected life of the meter was about eighteen to twenty years.

I don't really mind the cool weather or going without the gas, but I have a very old dog that needs the heat.
