Good thing it's still driveable. I read somewhere a couple of years ago that about 40% of Dallas drivers are uninsured. Just to be safe, you might want to blur your license plate.

Sorry to hear that! I'm still amazed at how so many get away with it.
Only once have I been hit when the other guy actually had insurance. That time he also had State Farm, so there was no Ins Co hassle!

Yes..please go see doctor. If for anything, documentation in case anythings comes up later.

The body can mask things and they will show up a day or two later.

Still hoping it is just sore muscles!!!

Sorry to hear about that. You shoudl definitely go to the doc to CYA. That's what my hubby did when he was rear-ended. For him it was just soreness and I hope it's something that harmless for you as well. I am getting really sickof these non-insured drivers. Driving is a privilege and responsibility.

Sorry to see this. Hope you and the car get put back together and in good shape. I feel the same about uninsured drivers. Too often these days the people doing the right thing wind up having to pay.

Take care of that pain first!

In some places, if you cancel your insurance (or let it lapse) the state gets notified and they come and take back your license plates. They also don't let unlicensed or uninsured motorists just drive off if they get stopped - their car gets towed/impounded and they get to find their own way home.

Got to love Texas' totally unenforced 'mandatory' insurance.

I wish they would take away the license plate, arrest the individual, impound the car and auction the car off to pay for the other drivers damages . . . it would sure make people think twice before driving uninsured!

Been in Houston 6 years now. 7 accidents later and only ONE had insurance. I thik they ought to do more to prevent it. Oh, and 4 of the 6 uninsured claims...ILLEGALS.
