there use to be one here at this site but I think a hacker used it to corrupt the system. The site was down for a couple of days. Abel could give you more details.

I think it'd be neat if we got on AIM or something... just a thought but the thought of a hacker...that's just sad that people go to lengths to be anti-progressive.

There is a group of TPF'ers that chat on a daily basis during the week.

There is not an actual chat club or chatroom. It's a bunch of people linked by "buddy" lists.

How it works is one person will see others "Online" and invite them to chat. Then this becomes a chatroom. As more and more people get online then they will be invited into the chatroom. Once inside the chatroom you can add "buddies" to you contact list.

My MSN ID is sonny_cantu@hotmail.com

When me and my son use to play Ghost Recon online we used Team Speak to talk to the other guys on our team. You can set it with all kinds of rooms. Basicly it could be set up to look just like the different threads on TPF

I was actually in the chatroom when the hacker took it down... that was a lot of work for Abel to get back up. Hopefully there'll be a TPF chat in the future, but with all the projects Abel has on his plate (the 2006 contest, for one), it'll be a while.
