Has anyone ever said this to you: "Hey, that camera of yours really takes great pictures" or some variant of it. I've heard it enough that it doesn't bother me as much as it did. Now I only want to choke them until their eyes bug out  --------------------------- Blog I've got raw unbridled talent when it comes to making mistakes It's time to go fishing <*)}}}>< |

happens all the time. I choose to let it slide. There's no reason to take it as an insult if it wasn't said as one. no , it never comes from photographers (that I'm aware of!). It comes from non-photogs exclusively, that's why I take it for what it's worth: a misguided but nonetheless sincere compliment. --------------------------- 5th Generation Texian. You should say, "Yeah, it takes great pictures... when I am using it." Hehe. Occasionally, I hand the camera to someone else to get a pic of my husband and I or something like that. I put it on center focus and tell them just to put the red dot on my face. Occasionally, it works out, but usually I don't like the result.
