There are a lot of shocked folks across Sooner Nation right now I bet. Being an OSU fan, I was pulling for the underdog, but talk about taking a chance..2 point conversion in OT, you either are going to win or lose.

Give Boise State credit, I mean nobody really has heard of them until this year, but the QB has the best record for a QB over the last 3 years. They arent getting the top recruits, but they sure got some talent.

On last point from me real quick, I thought OU would have ran A. Petterson more to try to break the record, but guess Boise State's defense held him.

The guy who scored the winning two point conversion proposed to his girlfriend on the field as the cameras were converging on him. Ian Johnson is his name. http://www.ktvb.com/news/localnews/s...e.51e1e69.html

I actually graduated from a school (LA Tech) that has played against Boise for a few years. Although LA Tech may not be the best in the conference, Boise has been running over us for some time now. This is a very disciplined team that has not received the credit they have been due. For the quarterback to overcome what everyone thought was "the mistake that would cost Boise the Game", was unbelievable. He's got my vote for "Mr. Sucking-it-up under pressure". Great bowl game, Boise!!!!!!!

As I was sitting watching the game with my girlfriend...I told her that if I were Boise State, I'd go for the 2-pointer at the end of regulation for the win.
Why not...they weren't going to lose any respect if they didn't make it. Win/lose...they proved to the entire freaking nation that non-BCS schools belong. Winning was just icing on the cake.
They didn't run a "normal" play after the hook-and-ladder to tie it. I was pretty much laughing and trying to explain to my g/f what just happened....all the while, wearing my Sooners jersey.

Well... it's time to get back in the game.

I was at the londoner last night in Addison and saw the game...it was Mayhem in there...all OU fans on one side of the pub and BSU fans on the other...I was in the middle of it all. Since I'm not a huge OU fan, the night went well.
