So, when we were in NY we went to *Mike*'s fav ice-cream shop and ate dinner and ordered a few sundaes. I arrived after everyone had eaten (my shoot ran late and then I sold an album). So, I show up and start talking about shooting people. I didn't think I was really loud but the people behind me kept giving me the evil eye.

I was telling Mike and everyone at the table... that I shot a girl on the beach - it went ok. She was really agreeable. And that I really prefer shooting children, rather than adults. Children are just so much easier to shoot.

It dawned on my later why they kept looking at me. I never said anything about photography, I didnt have my camera, or any equipment, and I kept talking about "shooting people" and "shooting kids is easier."

So, apparently Ive been down here too long...I totally missed I was freaking people out talking about my shooting rampage in a restaurant. Ooops.

lol, that is funny Holly. I am supposed to do my sister in laws maternity pics in march (this is their first child) and I keep telling her how excited I am that I get to shoot her in March, at first I didn't realize what I had said but she pointed it out and now I say it cause it's funny.

With that said...Im told my twang is actually still sounding like a Brookyln guy married a hick...hey - thats pretty much my parents.

I'm sure I sound like a hick up there. I stopped saying mawl (mall) and tawkin (talkin).

My sister in law is 100% texan...she told me she had to return my saaa. I had no idea what they heck she was talking about. She said it about 3 times and handed me a saw. Im still learning texan lingo. Its kind of funny.

I took an online photo class a couple of years ago. In the forum/discussion section I wrote and used the word "shoot". The word was deleted as a prohibited word! I then wrote it "sh00t" inorder to have it show up.

When I was a kid in NY I was told only the cops and mob had guns. They didn't use the word shoot - hit, wack were the more common verbs.

Maybe NY is maturing? Naw.

Dude, where'd you live? Some place better than me, I expect. I had my own personal stalker (my very 1st) when I was 16 yrs old. Bad people had guns...and cops...and the mob.

Yep, still are. Different atmosphere up there since 9/11. People are more suspicious than they used to be. Maybe that's why I just got looks. I didnt mention nothing about whacking no one.

And wow...Pulp Fiction was so gross! I dont think I could pull off the needle look, Michelle...better ask Heather. Heather can do anything...and she smells nice too! :o)
