Helmut Newton - Sundance Channel

I am probably addressing a limited group here as this only applies to people who subscribe to the Sundance Channel. For those that get this channel they are showing a biography of Helmut Newton the famous, and controversial, fashion photographer. As well as fashion, he is noted for his full length nudes which, of course, are the source of some of the controversy surrounding him. The next showing, I believe, is Wed. 1/17 at 12:15 AM (warm up your recorders)!

I get the Sundance Channel. I will definately check this out. I saw an interview with him several years before his death. What I really liked about him was his sense of humor. He worked closely with his wife on a lot of those shoots. He broke a lot of ground with his style of 'fashion fetish' photography.

This should be an interesting show.
