Coffee and Cheese ??? - 01-08-2007, 01:08 PM

Ew.

Ok so I have heard of people having cheese as an hors duer. And that is before dinner.

And I have heard of people having after dinner coffee. Not me, but I hear tell that yankees do it.

But after dinner coffee with cheese?!?! I read this in GA News (hey I was bored). The article was about winter foods and this part was about stews (in a aircraft magazine ... I don't know why).

Me. I could ask for more. Starting with a stomach pump.

Can you imagine the disgusting feeling that you would get from having the cold cheese sitting in your gut after you tossed hot coffee in your face? Ew! Oh and the breath!

Oh and if someone says you dip the cheese in your coffee like a .... coffee ... dipping ... thing I am gon'na hurl.

I don't know, maybe I am just to uncivilized to appreciate cheese flavored coffee.

Prophet out.

You dip the cheese in your coffee like a coffee dipping thing.

No you warp the cheese in a special bread and then dip that into the coffee, cheese itself won't soak up any coffee unless you shread it or do something else strange with it.

Also don't forget the $300+lb poop coffee that is first eaten by some critter in SE Asia before they roast the beans and make your cup of joe!

You know I am pretty fond of blueberry pie and I like a good medium rare steak about as much as anything I have ever eaten...

But never in my wildest dreams would I want to put those two things in a bowl, throw them into a microwave, and eat them at the exact same time.

Same thing goes for cheese in my coffee.
