Gordon's Blog - 01-08-2007, 10:08 PM

I have spent a good deal of time tonight reading through Gordon's Blog (at the bottom of his signature it says 2007 projects, and me being nosey decided I'd give it a click) and to my absolute wonder lay some truely inspiring thoughts.

After reading several of his entries I thought I should PM him and let him know what a true pleasure it had been to just spend the time I had wandering through his thoughts and thought what a better Idea to tell everyone else about it because you never know when something will inspire you.

Gordon - I love to read your posts here on the forum, your opinion is always one that I find to be of interest whether I always agree or not, I just enjoy your thoughts cause they make the wheels in my head start turning. I really am enjoying your entries about projects. I think that is now something I am going to add to my list of things for myself. I think something I forget to do is to remember to take the time to do things for myself and not for someone else, you helped to remind me of that. Today was a pretty bum day for me and to end it with such inspiration makes the rest of the day feel not so bad. so thank you!

Good Ideas Gordon - 01-09-2007, 12:19 AM

I checked out your blog and am particularly looking forward to seeing some progress on the triathlon work. My girlfriend competed in, finished, and won the overall female in her first Ironman competition this past year. It was a non-sanctioned event (which costs a lot less) in Oklahoma City, OK (which shoould really be renamed the windy city over Chicago by the way). I am pretty proud of her for her accomplishment---I myself do a little running, a little biking, and not hardly any swimming (just not my thing). But I sure can take a lot of pictures of really sweaty, tired people. These athletes are "normal" people with "normal" jobs and an incredible amount of drive and motivation. I would appreciate you keeping me up to speed on how things are progressing.
