They have sure made some very strong business decisions over the last few years. Congrats to them.

I'd buy one of these phones if I was sure they'd last longer than their warranty. Being flash memory based, I'd guess they would. With iPODs, I pretty much make sure I get them from Costco so I can get a refund when they die and apply it towards a new one. That in and of itself is worth my Costco membership fee.

Damn, good idea. My nano's screen just went bezerk. The nano works fine but the screen is bright white with nothing displayed. And just a few months out of warranty. I'm wondering if it's sweat/rain related from running with it using the nike thingie.

gez, will the "i"madnesss EVER stop?!?! hehehehe Actually thats pretty cool. i have a palm Treo 650 and I LOVE having my MP3 player, my picture viewer, my phone, my PDA, my EVERYTHING all in one. The only thing I DONT have on my Phone is GPS, but Hubby got me a Tomtom GO910 so I dont need it on my phone.

I was watching the text update for Jobs' keynote and when I saw the updates on Apple's site I am VERY impressed with the iPhone. I'm an early tech adopter, and a Cingular customer, so I will be getting one as soon as I can. I too currently have a Treo, but I'll happily switch when the iPhone is available.

Funny, I was watching their stock all afternoon as well and saw a really nice gain. The volume shot up during Jobs' keynote.

Dude... you have been waiting a long time... G2? I have a G3 and a Nano G2... both of which will be gifted as soon as I get an iPhone.

Yeah, that's pretty awesome. I also had the 4 browser tabs going... heh. I won't pick one up for a while, have to be able to get it unlocked for when I go out of the country.

The new Airport looks fantastic. I would've bought it last week when my father in law's wifi router died had it been available.

I want a 3G model.. Cingular edge isn't fast enough for my taste. But it's a good start. Wondering if it'll run OSX Skype? Seems you could use it to make calls that don't go against your minutes when on unlimited data plan and/or WiFi hotspot. Not sure that would be a big plus, but interesting to think about...

I'll probably grab one of these too..

Well I'm glad I didn't splurge for a Blackberry recently, it looks like my wallet will be taking quite the hit here in a few months. Damnit, and I wanted to spend that money on lenses.
