DIY-mania...backdrops and stands

In preparation for a long and bored weekend stuck in the house while DFW was to be turned into an ice rink I stopped by home depot and joann fabrics...and voila!

$16 for the pvc pipe
$4 for D-pins
$52 for the fabrics
$4 for dyes

It'll do for a while...probably a long while. The poles can reach up to 9 feet with holes drilled at 6 inch-intervals. Even with 4 backdrops hangin on the crossbar the middle sagged to about 6 inches. It's almost nothing with just one backdrop hangin across the whole bar. The longest pvc pipe is 5 feet. Easily fits in the car if I need to do a ghetto setup at someone's place

I also took up the profession of seamstress for several hours. Bought a sewing machine and sewed a loop into the fabrics so that they could hang from the crossbar. Not to worry, the sewing machine was promptly returned, lol.
