What is Up With the POY

I don't know if it is just me or what, but something is not right with the voting process on the contest. I went back to the People Category and I cannot find one of the photos I voted on and also I am seeing some shots that were not there before.

Most of the categories have a disclaimer at the top that voting is closed, while the Wedding Category has a disclaimer that voting has not yet started- please check back.

I voted just a day or two after voting was supposed to start but now I am not sure if my votes have been counted, especially since one that I voted for is not even there anymore.

Anyone else see any weird things with the contest? There sure are some great photos, I just want to make sure my votes are being counted.

I am having the same problem, but I thought it was just me.

No, it is really strange. The Sports Category has the disclaimer- Voting has Not Yet Started- Check Back Later and Submit Your Entries. Yet when I voted in this category a few days ago, the disclaimer said Voting Has Ended.

However, when I did do all of my voting, I did get a message that said, "Thanks for Voting."

All I know is that it is a little confusing as to what exactly is going on.

I noticed some had the "Not Started" and some had "Has Ended". But since all you do on these pages is look at the pictures, i didn't see a problem.

I'm not sure about the other problem. One thing I noticed was that the lower-numbered pictures were at bottom. If you click on a picture in the middle and start a slide-show, it only shows from that number UP. So you have to find #1 to see them all slideshow fashion. Is that maybe the problem?

Yeah Stephen, I did not think it would be a problem when all we do is look at the photos on that page but there was someone on here (can't remember who exactly) that thought the voting had eneded when she saw that disclaimer and that the contest was over.

Yep, I noticed that some of them were out of order on the numbering but that should not be a big deal.

Oh well, I guess as long as the votes count, everything is good. I just wish I knew what happended to that one shot I voted for in the People Category, I thought it was the best shot on there, and now I can't find it at all.

The link in the Site info forum to the contest photos is gone now also.

EDIT: I found it. It's just not a sticky anymore.
