Cool Our cup is FULL! - 01-20-2007, 05:50 PM

Our cup runneth over actually. Up here in Wood county the 3+ year drought may not be over, but it might be close to over. Lake Palestine & Lake 'O the Pines are FULL! The Sabine River at Hawkins is FULL! I saw some of the brightest green moss I've ever seen earlier. I'll record it tomorrow. Get out there and take some pictures!

We have a bit of white stuff here and the sun should break out tomorrow. I may go shoot a bit if I can avoid getting stuck in the mud.....maybe I'll just putter around the yayd and shoot ice on my neighbors rose bush.

I've been out with the furkids every day this week for a couple of hours. They love it, and I'm getting sicker by the day. Bad cough.

That's for dang sure, Tim! I spent 4 hours at CCS today shooting high school soccer in League City in the 28% gray. Yuck, yuck, and MORE YUCK!!! It was drizzly, gray, and cold. I'm still not thawed out. I can not stand this weather!!!

Weeks like this _almost_ make me wish we got snow in the winter. I hate cold rainy weather.

My problem with prolonged weather like this... I SPEND MONEY. I get the itch and decide it's time for a shopping spree. This week I am down like $4000!! DANG B&H and Frys!!

Now.. New camera body and too miserable out to use it. :(

Glad I don't live in Washington State...Although I love to visit, I am afraid I'd be completely broke with my "18% Gray problem" hehe

I was out this morning doing a few shots. Gray is good, wet is okay if I have my umbrella, mud is not cool.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.

These cloudy days remind me of the Seattle episode of American Idol haha! Now if you ever get grumpy about this weather, I know they sell these light bulbs that generate melatonin or something like that...same thing from the sun that gives you that energy. Anyway, I would trade this weather for a sunny day and about 4-5 inches of snow for some wheel spinning action. I like watching Texans drive in snow...why? cause they freak out.

There is this big, really bright object up in the sky this morning.... and the sky is this strange, eerie blue color. What's up with that?
