I know the reason is money, but why must they put 24 againist Heros, now I have to decide which one to watch and which one to record for later.

No problem for me. I've never watched 24, so Heroes it is!

Don't you have a DVR? Tivo?

You're missing out on 24 to be sure, but sometimes its best not to watch it so you don't become addicted to it. No, I do not have a DVR or Tivo yet, a DVR is in the plans but I always end up spending my money on photo equipment.

I got 2 DVRs free when I signed up with DishNetwork. I love them. I'd rather have more camera equipment, though.

I can record up to four channels simultaneously with SageTV on my media computer. We don't really watch that much TV, but it still comes in pretty handy because the shows we do watch always seem to be on at the same.

I don't like 24...Jack Bauer is a fraud cause Chuck Norris could kick his ass any day. ..Heroes on the other hand, I'll definitely watch!

I have no clue what either of those shows are about. Nor most of the other weekly "dramas" when you get right down to it although we do enjoy watching "Monk" on Friday nights...

Heroes, baby. All the way.

Never watched a frame of 24 and I'm glad.

We have Directv, which in our area doesn't offer the networks. So even though we have Tivo and can record two stations at a time, it doesn't work with the networks. They come in through the antenna and the Tivo doubles as the satellite receiver.

On the bright side we have countless hours of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse available at any given time...
