I have used Opera for years.
While I need Mozilla for proper use of Flickr and Blogger, Opera is faster, even more secure, less "twitchy", and I like the location of the tabs when I'm surfing multiple sites at the same time.
I think it's more customizable, too.
Mine has been tweaked extensively, to the point of associating .wav files that play when certain things happen, such as when a big download is finished.
Password and cookie management is handled better, too.

But as a distant third-place browser in popularity, many web designers don't even bother to test their pages w/Opera, so there are sometimes glitches here and there.
In fact, even when major bugs are found nobody bothers to fix them since it only affects "those Opera weirdos".
I think that's why blogger never made their upload page work with Opera, lazy bums.
So it pays to have Mozilla, too.
I just hate using it for day-to-day surfing.

If I could find a browser that doesn't freak out when flash items come up, I would definitely switch. So far, IE does the best job handling flash and firefox (the one that freaks out) is a huge gamble. I like opera on my phone and PDA...I might have to give it a shot on my PC.
