Lab to develop B&W films -> CD-R ?? - 02-04-2007, 01:14 PM

Hi guys,

I am mostly into digital photography, but a friend has loaned me an old Pentax A3000 film camera with a couple of lenses. Nothing special, I am sure, but I thought this might be my chance to shoot some black & white film. However, I have zero interest in dark room/chemical developing and for that matter, I don't want many paper prints, either. What I want is high resolution digital files.

The question then: who *locally* will develop non-C41 b&w film and burn the results in high resolution scans onto a CD-R?... and for a reasonable, fixed price?

Houston Camera Exchange? Photo Source?

Thanks,

Michael

Not local but several here use Dwayne's.

Thanks! Looks like just what I was wanting. I am not sure how much film I will run, as I'm so used to clicking freely with my Rebel XTi, but I do have a Pentax A3000 here to tinker with and click it old-school. Heh. Judging from the prices, old-school is expensive! :)
