want advice for shooting at Portofino Center near The Woodlands - 02-08-2007, 07:19 AM

A friend who works at a realty office at Portofino Center on I-45 told me that people are taking bridal portraits inside and outside the big lobby. She said there are lots of windows for natural light.
Has anyone photographed there? Is it a good place to do this? And, when is the best time of day for best lighting?

I remember seeing something (I think here on TPF) on bridal portraits there. You have to get management's permission. The person whose story I read got chased out because he did not.

Thanks. I had not thought about the possible need to get permission. I'll have to check into that.

Barbara,
Here's an old link on TPF regarding the Portofino shopping center. Mike (MyKey) posted some BEAUTIFUL images he took there. I'd love to shoot there myself so if you happen to find a contact regarding who to request permission to shoot, please share with the forum.

Paulo, thanks for the link. Good photos. I emailed my friend who works at the center at a realty office and asked her if there's a management company I can call. If I get information, I'll post it.
