Cell phone reverse lookup????

ok, so I have this person calling my cell phone and they keep hanging up. I get at least 3 calls a day. I got a number, but no name. I know on residential lines you can do a reverse number lookup and get the person's name, but is there something similar for cell phone numbers?

you have the number, call your provider and explain that you are getting harassment calls from that #.

Have you tried just putting the number into Google and seeing what comes up?

I tried the google thing and nothing came up....it's not actually harrassment otherwise I would, it's just annoying and I'm just curious as to who it is...

or just cal the number and tell them what is going on.

Be aware it may be a fax machine. you can always fax them something to tell them what is going on. Had to do it at work many years ago. a fax machine called me at least 50 times one day. I noted the #, and sent it a fax with something like "The number you are dialing (and gave my #) is not a fax machine. Please stop."

it stopped. darn near instantly.

I used to work in Telco, Those kind of calls CAN be reported as harrassment.

about all you can do it to report it.

also depending on your make and model of cell phone you may be able to block that number from calling you. not every phone has this function and it is a function of the PHONE, not your wireless provider (we are not allowed do that). it should be in the manual or do a google search for blocking incomming calls on your phone make and model
