If you're like me, I have a bunch of hard drives laying around or you have "friends" come over that wanna plug their hard drives into your computer to get "stuff". Here is a cool toy I bought a few weeks ago and LUV IT!!!!! It is a 2.5 IDE/3.5 IDE/SATA to USB adapter. I don't really want a bunch of hard drive external cases taking up space. So I bought this thing. I'm gonna buy a few more just to have some extras.

That would be pretty handy to have around just to test drives as well. No need to rip open your case and install the HD just to find out it won't spin up. Thanks for sharing!

That's exactly what it is, but has the option to connect a laptop drive, desktop IDE drive, and desktop SATA drive.

I wish I would have had something like this a couple of weeks ago when trying to diagnose a friends hard drive. He's got an HP something-or-other that's packed in there so tight, you have to tear the case apart just to get anything out. So, I just put our boxes side-by-side and ran my CD cable to his hard drive without taking it out...kinda tough since those cables aren't that long and I had to move all of my other cables around.
