BlueBonnets?? - 02-13-2007, 02:41 AM

Hi all,
I used to live in the Hill Country and remember the beautiful Blue Bonnets but can't remember when the season starts and where are the good places.

Does anyone know when it starts and where is a good place to go see them?

Seems like the road from Georgetown to Burnett was always nice but my memory is not that good.

Thanks for any advice

They should start showing in March and this season should be spectacular with the wet winter. My wife and I had our engagement shots done just north of Chappell Hill.

You will see them anywhere around Brenham and on up toward Austin. The backroads may be better and usually have larger fields, but last spring there were lots around Brenham-Chapel Hill on the main roads.
