Well my 1st 2 units arrived in the mail today for the Digital Photographers Short Course. Very well put together from what I have seen so far.

Included where 3 CDs and 1 DVD (Part 1 of a 2 part series) along with 2 books (nice color pages LOL) and my assignments and test information for the 1st 4 lessons.

I am eager to get in and learn more about how my camera works and get off AUTO mode. I will post updates from time to time here for those that are curious about the program.

Thomas,
I will be curious to see your thoughts on this course. I am enrolled in the professional course. I have been enrolled since November 2005 and I am finally mailing unit2 (of 6) in a couple of days. Maybe with my new camera I will get more motivated to finish the rest of the units.

That's the basic problem with these courses. You don't have a M/W/F class to go to so you keep thinking, "I will work on that next week-end." Less than 1/3 get half way through and only about half of those finish. I signed up for the "Famous Photographers" course back in the 60's and finished less than half of it. But I did study the books and it did motivate me to get a college degree in photography.
