Houston - Downtown Restaurants - 02-28-2007, 10:19 AM

My Manager and a co-worker are coming into town today and we are planning on going out to dinner tonight. What are some good places to eat in Downtown.?

They are staying near the Toyota Center and the GRB

Vic & Anthony's across from Minute Maid .. just a few short blocks north.

Spindletop at the Hyatt. Good food and unbeatable view.

Zula - recently had dinner there based on a recommendation and enjoyed it.

Brennan's of Houston - wonderful, simply wonderful.

17 - haven't been there yet, but reviews are incredible.

Vic & Anthony's is really good, but I think there's better in Houston for the money.

Oh yeah. This is good! This place is awesome for trying different things. Sure, it gets expensive, but that should be expected considering what's offered. My wife and I love the place.

Best of all, the Gingerman is located close by and is great after dinner. Mmmmm.... all those wonderful beers. Is it 5:30 yet? It's 5:30 somewhere...
