Addison Airport - 03-01-2007, 10:47 AM

There are several companies based at Addison Airport that are for hire I believe. I'm not sure on the prices, etc. If you want me to check into it for you, get me some details and I'll make some calls.

Hey russell there is a helicopter sky tour they do over at traders Village. I dont know how much they charge, but that is a good place to start. Also check the municipal airpoirts. Arlington Municipal and Addison municipal, and red bird, and I THINK mcKinney has a municipal airport

My brother is an owner of a corporate service. They have access to plan from a single engine size to a 767. He lives in the Plano area. If you want to give him a try PM me and I will get you his contact information. You may be able to work a deal in return for some photo work.

The Addisson Airport's museum. http://www.cavanaughflightmuseum.com/warbird_rides.htm

I rode in the AT-6, but the biplane is open (no canopy).

Russell
If you come up empty, let me know and I will get you a couple of phone numbers. I know one pilot (very qualified), but his time is limited.
I suggest you google spinks airfield, and Hicks field. Call the FBO (fixed base operator), explain your need and they will give you some help.

PM if you still need info. The owner of Airpark Airport in Plano has a couple planes that I've used before. They both have camera mounts in the belly that will take images straight down, or you can open the window & shoot out that way.... I even removed the door one time to get a better view. He also supplies the pilot. Don't know his current prices.
