TPPA Convention starts Saturday in Arlington - 02-28-2007, 10:28 PM

Just a reminder that the Texas Professional Photographers Association Convention begins this Saturday, March 3 at the Arlington Convention Center.There is a great line-up of speakers. For more info click this link: http://www.tppa.org/conv.htm

Even if you don't attend any of the programs there will be free passes to the trade show. Go to the registration desk to obtain a trade show pass.

I could find zero information about the trade show on the website other than it appears to be Sunday and Monday. Any idea who/what will be there?

Trade show hours as I see them are:
Sat 5:30-7:30
Sun 11:00-4:00
Mon 11:30-3:00

I guess the convention center will be charging $5 to park?

So will most people be going Sunday?

Thanks for the info on this! Unfortunately I can't go this weekend, but I'm going to try and at least go to the Trade Show on Monday! Do you have to be a PPA member to get into the Trade Show? I haven't joined yet...probably will after I go to my first meeting in March.

Trade show passes are like $20 for non-members, but there are free passes floating around out there on the net.... Miller's has one for their customers, for instance.

The trade show is $20.

TPPA members get in for free.

Other vendors have free passes available for download, including Miller's.

By the way, I'm planning on being there at 11am on Sunday before my basic class at the studio... in case anyone else wants to meet up. I've already got Kim in tow and possibly my wife as well.
