Business Musings:

The Bible tells us that “the love of money is the root of all evil”. In German, SAP must translate to “the love of money”. No other company has taken so many money-making and productive companies and reduced them to sniveling bankrupt has-beens. Processes that actually work are denigrated “because dey vill not verk vit SAP”, and after 5 years of SAP conversion and process re-design, still don’t. The most secure job is to be an SAP consultant. The program never ends.

Thinking about it, don’t we call a sucker a “Sap”?

SAP: Just Say Nein.

(We’ll get back at those Germans…we’ll sell them Chrysler….)

Driving Musings:

5 lanes of highway. The left 4 move at or near posted speed limits. The right lane backs up and slows for traffic entering and exiting, very understandable. In fact it slows to a crawl and often stops; irritating but still understandable. Yet, almost half of the people in that lane never exit. Why are they in that lane?

Pontiac Aztek: the case against legalized marijuana

Lincoln Blackwood: proof that money can’t buy taste

Cadillac Escalade: proof that bright shiny objects bedazzle the simple minded

It is a little known fact that the cosmic forces created by the close proximity and coordinated alignment of 4 octagonal red objects can cause temporary lobotomization. Observe this at the next 4-way stop you come upon.

More later…..feel free to post your own.
