we are so excited...they've dated for 2 years and he proposed tonite on her birthday. we didn't ask when the date was - but are guessing next summer. he's in med school and starting residency this fall - and she has one more year of nursing school! (they can take care of us in our old age - HAHA).

i'm just very happy for her - she never dated much and all her friends have gotten married a while back, like right out of school - she has just wanted this so bad for so long as this makes 2 years they have dated.

Since there are so many talented wedding photogs on here, maybe you should set-up a competition. Put together a package that you want for your daughter and have the photograhers bid on what they will charge for the same package. My former employer used this technique to purchase precious metals, sort of like a reverse ebay thing, and he lowered his costs by 36%. So, now we will know what photographers feel they are so good, they have the lowest costs to deliver.
