I know, right! Mike's teaching tonight. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm expecting a good mix of people with point and shoots show up sprinkled with hobbyists that have a nicer camera than I do.

So, do you really want to know how many Peeps were eaten during my Peeps shoot? Maybe I should put a disclaimer.

*No Peeps here harmed during the making of this ad*

I hate Peeps. They just look cute. And manual cameras are intimidating to newbies - so we put them with something very non-threatening...Bunny Peeps!

My last basic camera class was 7 Nikon DSLRs and 1 Canon DSLR ... was surprised by the ratio.. would have expected it to be more even.

I think this class needed the bunny philosophy to technical info...One person that wants to go pro - and has never owned a camera - bought a 30D. Just about everyone else has a P&S, & plus one person with a broken camera.

Conclusion 1 --- Nikon buyers have no idea what they are doing, just going with the brand.

Conclusion 2 --- Canon buyers think they know everything already.

Conclusion 3 --- There was a nice sale on Nikons at Best Buy....
