How many people are on Zooomr? It's alot like Flickr, but run by photographers and for photographers and they love input from the community (unlike Flickr which is now a Yahoo house organ and pissing everyone off with their changes). Also, unlike the free version of Flickr you can have as many sets (i.e. albums) as you want. They are prepping to roll out the newest version and just lifted all limits (uploads, space, etc). The new version will also feature a way to sell your photos as stock, with a large percentage of the sale price going to you and only a small % to the house (as opposed to traditional stock and microstock agencies) My page is: http://beta.zooomr.com/people/steelsun Only person I have "friend"ed in my contacts there so far is Thomas Hawk ( http://thomashawk.com/ ), who's the CEO and the person that got me to join up. He's a fairly well known citizen-photog in the San Francisco are (real big on Photog rights, etc). So, anyone else a member? I want more contacts. |
