The Event and the Image, Fused by the Viewfinder

A wonderful article in todays Times Arts section on The Event and the Image, Fused by the Viewfinder, a show of photography at the Jeu de Paume in Paris.

The show covered five themes the Crimean War; the introduction of paid holidays in France in 1936; the fall of the Berlin Wall; the attacks on the World Trade Center; and the conquest of the air.

The Times has some of the more interesting photos up but it makes me wish I were back in Paris for this.
