The Brenham area is crawling with them - just visited Saturday.

Also local to Houston - 288 South before OST there is a big field in the center median. Don't know the legality of stopping there though with mayor White's $afeclear initiative.

quick ?? the only ones I have seen here are in a church yard they are roped off would that mean that you can't sit in them or is it just so that they don't get mowed over lol? I am all new to this bluebonnet thing lol.

the roped off area keeps folks from walking thru them. It's always best to ask re: pics on private property.

pictures IN the flowers are a tradition, but it is preferred that you sit in front of or behind and NOT on top of any flowers. I've seen large fields that after a few weeks look like the aftermath of an elephant disco dance party........please take care as you walk amongst them, many flowers have not yet bloomed and are easily trampled underfoot.

I agree with Brian. Brenham has several very nice fields that are open for visiting. The south side of 290 just past the exit for Hwy 36 has some great looking fields that should be nice for photography. They are basically vacant lots between businesses.
