Okay deal, but since using my 24" for about 2 years, I can only go up. That 30" LCD is looking nice. But I guess dual 22" are okay.

Of course it's and "OK" deal for you. Not all of us have 8 PCs and monitors to match. For the regular Joe who is looking to upgrade from their 15", 17" or 19" monitors ...then it's a good deal.

Looks like a pretty good deal to me. I'm only on a 17" lcd.

I am a regular joe, aren't I

I have small monitors, one of my laptop is 13.3 and the other is 15.4". Those are small.

I think a person loses Joe status when they go over three PCs....don't feel bad I was in your shoes three years ago!

OK, it is a nice monitor and the price was definitely right. It just arrived from Dell this afternoon and it is up and running now. It compliments my other Dell widescreens. Guess I need to break out the calibration gear and tweak everything in.

Thanks for the tip, Sonny.

Yes, it is. And thanks for posting it! I just ordered one to upgrade from my 18" Dell FP.

This is good to hear, Dave. Thanks for telling me about it earlier. Can hardly wait to get mine!

John, I think you will like this one.
I ordered mine on the 28th and didn't get shipping information until the 30th because they place the order with Dell. You should see a DHL van arrive at your door a few days later.

For the record.. I just received my Dell 20.1" Wide Screen 1680x1050 WSXGA+ yesterday. Got it for $207. I thought that was rather good. Now I have a Dell 24 and 20.1 side by side. And the colors finally match. LOL

Or in my case, they show up somewhere on a different block and drop it off on a stranger's front porch. This "Stranger" did call me to tell me there was a Dell box on their porch with my name on it though. Got the 20.1 and a Canon 1.4x Extender in the day after I ordered it. Free Delivery. Not bad.... Of course, if my neighbor stranger would have been dishonest, then it would have been BAD. I have another thread about my feelings on this subject.

Congrats on the 22...

Still have not had time to calibrate it yet. I will get to it by the weekend... I hope. It is very similar to the other Dell's that I have and they calibrate very easily and render great color and gray scale.

I'll let you know.

Thanks Andrew.

I bought two 20.5" Dell's almost exactly a year ago and they have been great performers. The price even with a rebate was not that good compared to today's prices. I paid $429.49 each for mine.
