Portfolio, looking for actual port/binder - 03-29-2007, 03:22 PM

Hello all!
It's time once again to look for a new portfolio, the actual binder used for the port. It's been awhile since I have looked for a nice, solid book that can lay flat, when open, can hold up to 11x14 and all of that good stuff.
My question: Where do ya get one that's not $100!!! I can't find them where I got my previous ones, so, anyone know where to get a solid portfolio book?

Thanks!

You get what you pay for on portfolios IMHO.

I bought mine from House of Portfolios in NYC (on the web).

I highly recommend Brewer Cantelmo.

Your portfolio is your calling card. Why put your best work in something cheap?

Thanks!

You may want to check http://models-mart.com. I bought The Scuba Portfolio with removable pages for $70 and it looks pretty good. It's certainly a great first portfolio for 40 images. From their website:

"Scuba", the unique model's portfolio designed exclusively for the professional model by Models Mart. The "Scuba" book is the portfolio of choice by leading agencies
and top models all over the world. It feels like leather but is much more durable.
The cover will never split or crack and easily wipes clean. It comes with 20, 9 × 12 pages good for 40 photographs. There is a horizontal pocket on the back, inside cover for composites and slide holders with permanently fused in pages. (4lbs.)

$59.95

With removable pages,
$69.95
