where's the "help" forum?

is that here? where does one go when they have questions about photography in general? or maybe about their camera?

i'm pretty new at all this and sometimes i have questions but i don't see a help section.

some questions might be.........how do i change the white balance on my camera? what is white balance and why should i be concerned with it? how do get the background to come in sharper?(i know the answers to these questions i was just throwing out a possible question) questions i'm having right now (that i don't know the answers) are about lenses.

i see a tips section (which is great) but i think i need more of a help section. or maybe i'm looking for a beginners section?! not seeing that section either. or is it this section?

Holly you are in the right place for general questions, if you have specific questions about your camera model you may go into the equipment section and post.

Many of us just come into the forum and go to "new posts", so it doesn't matter what category you ask it in, we'll get you an answer. Open talk is always good because most people will check it out.
