Two Lane Blacktop - 04-04-2007, 10:20 AM

Went to an estate sell this morning to look at some SnapOn tools they had and while digging around in other stuff I found a movie that I haven't seen in many years, Two Lane Blacktop. I couldn't believe it was actually a DVD and not a VHS, and it only cost me 50 cents ! Wish I could say the same for the tools.
Now my car movie collection consist of:
Christien
Two Lane Blacktop, Driven, RPM, Gone in 60 seconds (the original version),
Gone in 60 seconds (New version), The Junk Man, Death Race 2000, The Car,
Army of One, All three Fast and Furious, Vanishing Point (original version),
Vanishing Point (new version), Biker Boys, Torque, plus about 20 DVDs of stunt bikes, car shows and car and truck races on and offroad. I'm sure I forgot one or two. As soon as Ghost Rider, Red Line and Wild Hogs make it to DVD they will be added.

If anyone knows of some other good movies with cars or bikes in them let me know so I can watch for them.

Anyone else collect movies with cars, bikes, trucks or boats???

Forgot about Bullet! I haven't watched it in a while. That movie was te main reason I bought a 68 Fastback right after I got out of high school, couldn't find a 67.

I've got to add the Fastest Indian to my collection even though I haven't even seen it yet, Didn't get a chance to see it at the mocies and completely forgot about it . I'm so ashamed !

What about Cannonball Run and Smokey & The Bandit?

Oh, and the Fast & The Furious trilogy.

Does Back to the Future count?!

I need to look in the movie closet and see how many more I have forgotten. Got all the Smokey and the Bandits except for the last one, guess I should add it to the collection but man it went down hill with the last movie. Also have Canonball run which reminded me that i also have the Gumball ralley and Rat race. I also forgot about an Evil Kenevil movie I have, can't remember the title, plus it's on VHS which I don't even have a player for anymore. Canonball Run, Gumball Rally are also on VHS, guess thats why I forgot all about them.
There was a movie I watched a few years ago late one night on Speed Channels Drive-In but I can't remember the name, just that it had an early Chevy, 55 or 56 that was terrorizing a small town. One thing I remember very clearly was the fact that it had a straight front axel like an old gasser and no front bumper and was flat black, cool car !
