Microsoft's hopeful ANI fix

Most have heard, I hope, of the ANI problem with Windows from Microsoft. They have swiftly (for them!) released an out of cycle patch. Just go to www.microsoft.com and click the link for the security update for April 3rd.

I think I got it last night in the autoupdate.

the swiftness in the patch was not out of the ordinary since they (MS) found out about it last year, but it was only made public last week.

yes, although found in December, the brouhaha was not until this past Monday, and then, most were uncertain MS had a clue what to do...
