We wanted to go on a day trip to Hill Country this weekend, but wasn't sure where the best place to go would be. We will be traveling from Fort Worth and did not want to drive more than 4 hours to get there. Any suggestions of the best places to go for a scenic drive and wildflowers? Wow, thats a tuff one. I know around Brenham, Washington on the Brazos is good but may be pushing the distance limit.
