When we first came to Arlington in 1984, the population of that city had just reached 250,000 ... ahhh, the good ol' days.

NICE!!!! And to all you peeps complaining about traffic....go live near DC, especially 40-50 miles south, THEN you will know what traffic is.

Even Dallas is a breeze to me after ten years there.

And that is with a population between DC/Northern VA/Maryland- including Baltimore- that might just barely reach the 6.5 million mark (thats the ENTIRE STATE of Maryland and DC, plus about a Million in NOVA)

Rush "hour" was 4:30am til 10 am (full 4-6 lanes going north less than 40 mph, usually stopped) then started up again going south around 3pm til about 8pm. THe only good time to travel to DC from VA was so late, the only thing open were hookers and dealers.
