Weird CS3/XP problem

So I was working on a new website, and I was using CS3 to touch up some files. After a few days of working fine, my CS3 began to close itself whenever I tried to save a file, and then it started to close itself whenever I tried to open a file from the directory I had been saving to.

Now I notice that anytime I try to open the directory where the CS3 files were saved, Win Explorer shuts down, and anytime I try to open anything from, or save anything to that directory, it shuts down whatever program I am using.

This is getting mighty frustrating! Any ideas what's going on or how to fix it?

Non whatsoever. I'd post this to Adobe's CS3 beta site and see if you can get some help.
