I just want to let anyone who is still a student know that you can get the Adobe Creative Suites CS2 for CHEAP!!!

I ordered on Wednesday and got it yesterday! Order fast though, because, if you go to the link, under the "Specifications" tab, it states "Customers who purchase CS Prem 2.3 between 3/27/07 and the first shipment of CS3, are eligible for a free upgrade to CS3 Design Premium. The ETA for CS3 is mid-April. Please contact Adobe's Customer Service at 800-833-6687."

FREE UPGRADE TO CS3 When it is released!

All I had to send was a copy of my ID and a copy of my paid bill (with schedule). Just wanted to give my fellow students a heads up on a great deal! It is a lot better than paying $1200 plus CS3 upgrade price.

Their rating on resellerratings.com isn't so hot. I'd double-check the ability to upgrade from an educational verison.

Caution-Unless there is a 'special promotion' from Adobe, you can not upgrade the Education Version to any other version. My grand-daughter gave me a CS2 Educational Version for Christmas 2 years ago and I've been checking about getting the CS3 Upgrade, but the Adobe website states that I am not eligible for this upgrade.

You might be eligible for the CS3 Educational Version though!!! Sometimes when you purchase an existing version of software within XX days of a newer version being released, the software manufacturer will give a discount on getting the newer version.
