Sorry to hear this. I lost my dog about 6 months ago and it was hard. I still think about her. Just think of the happy times.

Murph, I'm sorry to hear that. Losing a dog is one of the most difficult things I've ever gone through. If your anything like me the pain will eventually pass and you'll start to remember the good times. Hang in there.

Murph, I'm sorry for your loss. Our dogs and cats are more than just pets, but are integral to our lives and our happiness. When one is gone there is a big hole in our lives and hearts.
Our best to you and your family.

Sorry.
Its hard.
It took me like a whole year to get over the loss of a 16yr old Westie.
I got another to help.
Maybe you should consider another.

I have a 13 year old rescue dog myself. I know how much a part of the family they become and what a loss this is.

It's never easy loosing a good friend.
My Grandma used to say dogs were Gods gift to man to help us understand unconditional love and total devotion. I think she was right.

Sorry for your loss. I've been there several times but the one I had before this one hurt the most and that's because of the strong bond. I had to make myself think about the good times we had instead of focusing on the loss and it still took months to let her go but I still think about her often. What a great dog!
Try to remember the good times like others have already said.

Sorry Murph-that is really tough especially after 15 years. On a lighter note, My Uncle told me once that every child should have a dog as it would teach them unconditional love, responsibility and to turn around 3 times before going to bed at night. Again-sorry, keep the chin up and remember the fun memories!

Hang in there, we had to put to rest my wife's 15yo Border Collie a few years ago. She still gets teary eyed when she thinks of Bala. It's never easy losing a friend....

What a sweet girl. I am so sorry for your loss.
I dread the day I lose Jazz. I think I'll have to get another dog right away to stay sane.

oh murph I am SO sorry for your loss. We just lost our kitty cat almost two weeks ago and we lost our first dog that we had as an adult 3 years ago. It is never easy. Know that she is not in pain anymore and she is at the bridge happy and healthy.
