Yea I installed the iAlertU program on my mac like 4 weeks ago and the first time it went off it scared the **** out of me

oh yea, it works just fine, I like to listen to alot of music when I work on websites so my volume is normally up loud so you can imagine the near death heart attack I had when it went off from me walking around the room.

iAlertU is great... as long as crooks are smart enough to quickly slip the battery out.

Lojack for laptops is a joke with in the computer security industry (where I work). If you want to keep your data private, encrypt it. If you want to recover you data, back it up. If you want to replace your hardware, insure it.

iAlertU is a pretty fun program.. adjust the sensitivity.. even takes a picture when it goes off.
