Save me one! I won't be standing in line though. I can wait a little longer. Do you think the first ones will have bugs to work out?

My gen2 iPod is still going strong. Yes, there will be bugs to work out with the iPone, but I don't believe they will be hardware related. Any OS or software glitches will be able to be fixed on the go with updates downloaded from apple, etc. I have never had a "nice" cell phone because I don't like talking that much. But, make a device that I can carry like a phone, check email, surf the web, browse photos, IM, watch videos, listen to music AND take snap shots...SIGN ME UP. I'm just not sure I'll be able to afford the monthly fees from Cingular on this, though. It is WiFi enabled however. I live/work under a wirless cloud. :-)

I am just hoping one of the guys at the office gets the iPhone to test before they are sold to the public. I have been asking him about every 2 weeks since January as to where it is.

If I get my hands on one I will sure to post a pic of it.

Leopard was originally delayed because of Windows Vista and now the iphone. ugh.

Apple NEVER said that. That rumor was put to rest with the bootcamp 1.2 release.

I doubt it's really the iPhone myself. I think it's new goodies that will need developer testing post WWDC 07. A bunch of others agree... http://www.appleinsider.com/articles...ard_delay.html

Apple DID say they had to delay the leopard release cause of incompatibility with bootcamp at first but now its another problem. This doesn't look too good for Apple since a lot of people were expecting Leopard to be released in April, then June and Now October.

Rumor. I searched Apple press releases and nowhere did they ever say Leopard is delayed due to Windows Vista. This one was started by the above reporter. Many Wall Street advisers publicly dismissed it as incorrect.

I watch the Apple market daily as both a user and stock holder. If you have a reference to a public statement to that fact, I'd love to see it.

Looks at Leopard outstanding timeline now. It sure doesn't make me proud about owning a mac and i do own A mac. Keep mocking the opponent might just come back to you ..one day.
