Monica Update

We got some great news yesterday! During the previous visit to the Oncologist, some blood was drawn to evaluate the effect of the chemotherapy Monica is receiving. There is something called "cancer antigen" and when first diagnosed, Monica's value was way high - about 1000. The recent blood test shows now the level of the antigen is now 400. The chemo is WORKING and Monica believes her attitude about "Get out of my body you unwanted bloody pestilence" is having its effect. We are both excitied at her progress!

We would also like to thank everyone for their prayers as, I'm sure they have made their own contribution to Monica's progress as well. Thank you all so much.(but don't stop now as the battle has only been joined and not won!)

I'm glad to hear the Monica is getting better with the treatment. We'll continue to pray for her health and strength to flight the illness.

Nick, Whenever I see a post from you, I wonder how Monica is doing, so thanks for sharing this great news with us! A positive attitude and fighting spirit really do make a huge difference and Monica is proving it.

Thats great news !!! Tell her to keep up the faith and she can beat it. I beat it almost two years ago and was clean my last vist last week. I know the stress and strain this puts on her and your whole family but it will only make all of you stronger and bring you closer together. Tell her i expect to see her at our survivors get together sometime this summer. Our church will continue to pray for her and your family.
